a co-llage for co-llege.

technically this is the last night of summer.
[even though i have until next wednesday/thursday. i still haven't decided when to leave.]
and i am sitting on my back porch. alone. writing stuff.
not really the ideal way to spend my last night of summer, but the weather is nice and i can't complain.
i texted people to play fugitive. but that fell through. there was like three of us.
but no one ever wants to play fugitive. i don't see why it's not fun.
but it really is nice outside. the weather is probably a perfect seventy-something degrees. maybe even in the high sixties. the crickets are chirping and the pond has a waterfall. it sounds nice.
i can't even hear the freeway and it's like a couple blocks away!
i wish i could see my fish. kevin, sparkles, cow, slutty mcgavin, one, two, and three.
they like to hide in the rocks and algae. i just wish they'd grow into big fish.
lately i've been wearing skirts. because i'm sick of wearing shorts and pants.
i like skirts and don't know why i never wore them that much before.

enough of my random rants though.
i spent the day gathering up pictures, magazine pages, and other things i like.
why?
i don't want to spend the next semester looking at cinder blocks.
so i'm making a giant collage.
a collage for college. ha.
last night i went to dinner with all of my friends.
[emily, jessie, alexandra, jessie, lizzy, kim, mary, misha, jane, izzi, and mariah.]
we went to the dodo and the dodo was delicious.
i got the usual smoked turkey sandwich with swiss and tollhouse pie.
it's probably my most favorite meal in the whole world.
but we went to dinner because we're all leaving for college soon.
it was fun, but sad. sad saying goodbye at least.
i'll still see people, but some i won't see that often.
i would put some pictures up, but i haven't gotten them from eden yet.

i still can't believe i'm going to be in college.
it's so weird. and college is a weird word.
i just got a sudden urge to be oh so pumped up for harry potter seven. part one.
NOVEMBER 19th.
