an ode to twinship

i've always wanted a twin.
and today that wish came true.

today i discovered my long lost twin, madi mackey. holla!
we're basically like...the same person.

so i declare march tenth...
long lost twin reunification day.
in honor of madi and myself.

here is a poem i wrote just barely.
i call it, ode to twinship.

madi, where have you been all my life?
when i found out we were twins,
i dropped on the floor, my butter knife.
but i didn't care
because now i'm aware
that we are twins.
can you say, epic win?
we like the same music and have the same thoughts
we're cooler than baby cats sleeping in cots.
i'd say we're quite cultured and know what is cool.
we're cool like water in a pink kiddie pool.
in december, we can drink horchata with the diplomat's son
because we are twins and stuff like that needs to be done.
and maybe one day we can frolic with ewoks
and eat chinese food that was cooked in a large wok.
don't give me a puppy or a hedgehog named finn.
because now i am happy that i have a twin.

  1. I definitely like yours more. Chinese food sounds so good right now.
