pirate island.

pirate island arcade.
enough said.
last night kim, misha, and myself explored provo.

it was an ugly, brown building.
standing plain and tall, behind the mall.
there was nothing but plain, brown, nothingness.
except for the the only sign in front.
pirate island.
we decided to check it out.
the three of us awkwardly walked through the decorative brown doors.
[decorative as in it look like pirate ship wood]
inside was a small pool filled with water and the wish-filled coins of passing customers.
i felt like i was walking through the line of pirates of the caribbean.
kim took the lead and walked up to the host and the front desk.
"hi. what is this?" she asks.
"this is a pizza restaurant." the man dressed in pirate attire replied.
we nodded in unison, the awkwardness continued to seep in.
"would you like to look at the menu?" the man breaks the silence.
"sure." we reply.
five minutes of uninterrupted menu glancing passed.
"so can we go to the arcade?" misha asks.
the man smirks and replies, "right this way ladies."

games galore. i put two dollars into the token machine and promptly began playing skee ball.
kim only had a twenty and apparently she put it into the machine twice and it spat it back out.
misha tried a third time, knowing that the twenty would most likely come back out.
but it didn't.
eighty accidental tokens later. we ended up with 277 tickets.
we're going to save up for a pirate flag.
and we plan on going back next weekend.

after the arcade, we went to see inception.
really i paid 8.25 to take a nap.
it's a great movie, but i fell asleep.
plus it was my third time.
but i love joseph gordon-levitt.
and naps.

it's been a great weekend.
