It's been too long...so I have much to say.
This past week has been quite fun and rather memorable, full of parties, adventure shirts, and breathtaking hikes. But let me point out quickly that my blog may look a little different, but only slightly. I pressed the wrong button and now the part with all the text is white, and not cream. It bothers me because it is too white; however, I cannot fix it.
But let me continue with the more important parts. I have graduated from high school. Done. Forever. It's pretty strange being a high school graduate. I will probably feel the full effects when I start college, but for now I will enjoy my summer. After graduation we partied it up at Classic Skating, and then next day I went to Moab with some friends.
Moab, next to Lake Powell, is one the most beautiful places in Utah. The red rocks formed in many shapes and sizes are simply gorgeous and are so much fun to hike! So my weekend consisted of the following: hiking, scum, and sleeping on an air mattress with holes. While the trip altogether was more than fun, there were two highlights:
The "sunset hikes" at the Slickrock Bike Trail.
The Adventure Shirt Shop on Main Street.
I loved the hike because I went off on my own and explored. I love to explore. Even on the big hike we went on, I left the trail and explored with Eden. We climbed a giant rock. The Slickrock Bike Trail was really just a bunch of smooth rock hills, but they were huge. Watching the sunset was really pretty.
I made two shirts and the Adventure Shirt Shop [I only call it this because it was adventure shirt central, I do not know the real name. I made a cobalt blue tank with an awesome wolf and a black tank that says "Lake Powell Party Barge" and there are people partying on houseboats. Epic should describe both.
Moab was an adventure, but now I am home for most of the summer. I'll probably go on some adventures of my own, because like I said before [I think...], this summer is going to EPIC and adventurous.
