and i think i'll start a band.

i love music too much.
but i love that i love it too much.
and i feel like i have a somewhat superior knowledge of music and band and such.
and sure there are people who know more.
but i know lots of good stuff.

i'm starting a band.
i've mentioned that in almost every post in the last month.
but i'm serious. like really serious.
and the funny part is, we have a whole variety of instruments.
except a guitar.

what i think we have so far is this:
ukulele
piano
flute
violin
harp
drums

we'll most likely start with covers.
and then, when we're pretty good,
we'll start writing our own stuff.
a lot of pretty good bands started in college.
for example:
MGMT and vampire weekend.
and we have yet to come up with a catchy name.
but that day will come.
and soon.

I wish I had a British boy.

I fail at blogging. I always forget. But in all honesty I don't think anyone reads this. This blog is merely for my own personal enjoyment. To recollect on things that happened because journals just don't work out for me. Why? Because I forget.
I am a forgetful person sometimes. But not really. I just have a hard time focusing on whats important and daydream about things that have nothing to do with reality. Like food I want to eat or boys I'll never have, or birds.
I've started writing songs. Which is a miracle because I have always struggled in the poetic department. And oddly enough I haven't really had any romantic inspirations. Ever. I just write about stuff. Yes. Stuff.
So one day I will start my band. We will see.
I wish I had a foreign boy. From England or Australia or Scotland. OR I wish I was from England or Australia or Scotland. I would feel so...awesome.
But a foreign boy. I would feel cool to be with such a person.
Like I said. I focus on things that have nothing to do with reality. Like foreign boys I'll never have.
Or boys in general. I'll say it now. I'm in love with this boy at my school.
Well a friend. A good friend actually. Things could happen. But for now I just sit and wait.
There are a few things I've taken recent interest in:
Spongebob Squarepants.
The old Britney Spears songs.
Nerf Guns.
Bunnies.
Finding new music.
Writing stuff.
Saturday Night Live.
You see I've always had a tender spot in my heart for the foregoing. But recently I enjoy them. A lot.
I'm going to make a promise to blog more. Even though probably nobody reads this.

Berry Jello.

I've never blogged...so this might be interesting.
Now what to write about? Music? I like music. A lot actually. I don't want to brag or anything but I have a knack for finding good music. Once a month I download Blalocks Indie/Rock Playlist and get a nice selection of new music. Most of it's good stuff, while I skim over a few songs. This month is April. Obviously. I am currently fishing through one hundred and twenty new songs, looking for the gold. So far...I've liked all of the music. I have other ways of finding music. Trashy TV. Like Gossip Girl. I've gotten a ton of music from Gossip Girl. Sometimes I hear songs on the radio, or I'll sit on iTunes and listen to bands and the "recommended bands" until I find something good. Movies help too. I have my ways and my friends come to be for music all the time. Might I suggest a few of my current favorite artists...check them out.
Regina Spektor (ALWAYS a favorite)
Florence + The Machine
Jack Johnson (But of course)
I can't think right now. But I'll always suggest a few artist that I like at the moment.
Oh. I just thought of something that happened today.
I'm a fan of Veggie Chips. So delicious. In my AP Human Geography class today I was eating a bag of these chips and I got bored. So I thought. Hey. Why don't I read the back of this bag?
I noticed that the "creator's" name was Jerry Bello. And then it hit me.
I leaned over to my good friend Emily and said to her. Oh my goodness. If you switch the J and the B it says Berry Jello!
It blew my mind.
And it is official that Emily and I are going to start a band. So far: I will play the piano and she will play the ukelele. We will both sing. It's brilliant.
